He was predeceased by: his father Robert Waldorf; his granddaughter Sofia Waldorf; and his sister Karin Applegate. He is survived by: his nephews, Josh Waldorf, Austin Adams, Jared Castaneda, Garrett Shaw, Ashton Beal and Jeff Shaw, Jr.; his mother Ethel Waldorf (White) of Clinton; his wife Sheila Shaw; his children, Nicole Andresen of Spragueville, Tara Soenksen (Josh) of Clinton, Kirsten Waldorf of Clinton, Colin Waldorf (Sarah) of Princeton and Quentin Waldorf (Hillary) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Cameron, Payton Andresen, Bryce, Kaylee, Wyatt Soenksen, Zoey Waldorf, Cooper Wenzel, Sawyer, Sutton Waldorf, Mason, Callen and Lacey Waldorf; his brothers, Steve Waldorf (Ellen) of DeWitt and Mark Waldorf (Brenda) of Camanche; and his aunt Nancy Hebler of Clinton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (656 5th Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732).
