It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David C. Spooner of Clinton, Iowa, who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Spooner and Helen Spooner (Buckley); and his siblings, Arthur, Dwayne, Ross, Jackie, Kay and Gayla.

He is survived by: his wife Michele "Mickey" Ashton; his children, Melissa Spooner of Boise, ID, Ryan Spooner (Ashley) of Urbandale and Lee Spooner (Samantha) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Tristian, Makenna, Hunter, Abby, Addison, Hazel, Katie, Jaxon, RyLee, Stassi and Jock; his great grandchild Lorelai; and his sister Marcia Lass of Clinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
