It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Robert Brainerd (Clinton, Iowa), born in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brainerd and Edith Thompson Brainerd. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughter Caitlin; his sister Teresa Brainerd Hays (John); his father-in-law Thomas Cannon; and his sister-in-law Connie Cannon Bracey.

The family will make donations to the Alzheimer's association, American Cancer Society and the Humane Society.
