She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Dierks and Frieda Dierks; her brothers, Donal Dierks (Joanne) and Robert Dierks (Amy); and her former husband Edwin Ketelsen (Fuzzy).

She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hansen (Joel) of Charlotte, IA, Brent Bielenberg (Nancy) of Lake Elmo, MN, Nadine Messerschmidt (Dan) of Fishers, IN and Tracy Bielenberg (Steve Saunders) of Waverly, PA..
