He is survived by: his wife Nancy Eckelberg; his son William Eckelberg (Jacy); his grandchildren, Bennyn of Clinton, Iowa and Jaley of Clinton, Iowa; his sister Bernadette Eckelberg of Muscatine; his nephew Jesse White; and his niece Anna Marie Slayer.
