He was predeceased by: his father Stewart Burkamper; his uncles, Bob and Bill Burkamper; and his cousins, Court and Kevin Burkamper.

He is survived by: his mother Terri Burkamper (Kussman) of Davenport; his children, Evan Burkamper of Muscatine and Madison Burkamper of Muscatine; his grandchild Remington; his sisters, Kristan Boysel (Gary "Pete") of Davenport and Kyla Healey (Jerry) of Fruitland; his nieces and nephews, Gairren, Alexa, Paishlynn, Treysen, Tyler and Derek; his great-niece Tara Steahr; and his great-nephew Trenton Dennis.
