With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles R. Carpenter of Clinton, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Carpenter and Lucinda Carpenter (Schmidt); and his sister Marcia. He is survived by: his wife Maribeth Morrissey of Clinton; his sons, Jason Carpenter of Clinton, Nicholas Carpenter (Cassie) of Clinton and Dustin Carpenter of Clinton; his grandchildren, Ethan, Alaina, Graysen and Madyson; and his siblings, Wanda Peters of Sabula, IA, Carlota Carpenter of Washington, DC, Janell Ketelsen (Larry) of Redfield, IA and Kenneth Carpenter (Roxann) of Colorado Springs, CO..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory (302 3rd Ave S, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
