He was predeceased by: his parents, George Klinkner and Helen Klinkner (Keogh); his wife Fran; and his siblings, Kate Kjergaard, Ty Martell, Tom and George William.
He is survived by: his former wife Frances Atkinson; his daughter Kara Marr (Gaye) of Clinton; his grandson Evan Marr of Cedar Rapids; his sisters-in-law, Jan Klinkner of Clinton, Pat Greve (Frank) and Jackie Atkinson of Camanche; his grandchildren, Marv, Mardella Dorrel of Chula Vista, CA, Mary Butt (Onie), Barb Dodd of Clinton, Bonne Tebbe (Gary) of Preston, IA, Carol Atkinson of Preston, IA, Jane Atkinson of Preston, IA, Marie Rossmann of Preston, IA and Linda Atkinson of Lost Nation; and his brothers-in-law, Dan Atkinson of Moline, Steve Atkinson (Deb) of Davenport, Tony Schultz of Camanche and Steve Brown of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
