He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester J. Humphrey, and Margaret M. Humphrey, Sr. (Gladhill); his wife Shirley Hasken; his grandsons, Brent and Nick; his siblings, Betty, Jackie, Marylin and Lester "Jake"; and his half-siblings, Shirley, Darlene, Alma, Elsie and Junior.

He is survived by: his children, Warren J. Humphrey of Williamsburg, IA, Barbara Fulton (Mike) of West Branch, IA and Rae Deney-Gluesing (Brent) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer (Matt), Jake (Lindsay), Danielle (Eric), Ashlyn (Scott) and Chelsea; his great grandchildren, Warren, Chanel, Jerimiah, Mya, Aziyah and Hazel; and his sister Joan Pinkston of Bettendorf. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
