He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Horner and Camilla Horner (Owens); his stepfather E. Paul Sander; his children-in-law, Rich Kettler and Katherine Horner; and his sister Janice.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Holle; and his children, Charles Horner, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, Jonelle Kettler of Clinton, Tim Horner (Billie Jo) of Clinton, Sue Davidoski (Joseph) of Cincinnati and Steve Horner (Paula) of Clinton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
