He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Bentley and Alice Bentley (Bice); his brother-in-law Steve Simmons; and his nephew John Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Klemme; his children, Kristine Bentley (Stanley McCrudden) of Savanna, IL, Michael Bentley of Clinton, IA and Holly Smith (C. J.) of Panama City, FL; his siblings, Roger Bentley (Joy) of Clinton, IA, Mary Krogman (Michael) of Clinton, IA, Lois Simmons of Chester, VA, Beth Reckman (Mike) of Davenport, IA, Thomas Bentley (Diane) of Chaska, MN and Jerry Bentley (Char) of Mill Creek, WA; and his aunts, Rose Fuhrmann of Bettendorf, IA and Tamie Bice of Beaverton, OR. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
