He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Thoms and Cheral Thoms (Petersen); his sister-in-law Linda Thoms; and his aunts and uncles, Jim Petersen, Robert Thoms, Gary Thoms, Russ Kratz, Jeri Kay Hunter, Janice Turner, Betty Kratz, Jane Thoms and Martha Thoms.
He is survived by: his siblings, David Thoms (Christine) of Lecanto and Laurel Day (Tom) of Coralville, Iowa; his nephew Jacob Thoms (Erin); his nieces, Janey Day, Kate Day and Erin Mack (Dwight); his great-nephew A. J.; and his great-niece Nevaeh. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given in Brian's memory to The Honor Flight of the Quad Cities.
