It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brett James Lawson of Clinton, Iowa, born in Morris, Illinois, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilbur "Dean" and Jane Lawson; and his aunts, Lorrie Lawson and Teri Lawson. He is survived by: his parents, Jay Lawson (Andrea Lawson) and Christine Lawson (Stricklin); his brother Collin Lawson; his stepsiblings, Emily Ryner, Jaxon and Lilah Henry; his grandparents, Ancil and Joy Stricklin; his uncles, Curt, Kevin Lawson, Herb and Jim Stricklin; his aunt Amy Avila; and his son Jack Jack. He is also survived by several cousins and other extended family.
