It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Jo Dethmann of Clinton, Iowa, born in Shelbyville, Illinois, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tripp and Vera Tripp (Evans); her former husband William Lorenzen; her great grandchild Noah; and her brother Bernie.

She is survived by: her children, James Lorenzen (Tara) of Clinton, IA, Thomas Lorenzen (Rosemary) of Salem, IA and Lisa Koser (Paul) of Lanark, IL; her stepchildren, Amy Dethmann-Crock of Tipton, IA and Eric Dethmann of North Liberty, IA; her grandchildren, Vera, Stephany, David, Brittany, Chelsey, Nathan, Ben, Scott and Torey; and her siblings, Anita Tripp (Brad Bradshaw) and David Tripp (Debra) of Green Valley, AZ.. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
