He is survived by: his brother Garold; his nephews, Joe, Curtis Caven and Clinton; his wife Ruth Taplin; his children, Bobbi Schroeder, Brent Caven (Sara) and Bethany Ryker (Noah); his grandchildren, Samantha, Chandler, Nathaniel Schroeder, Jace, Reece, Cael Caven and Andrew Ryker; his great grandchildren, Braedon, Kaylee, Bryston and Kyla Schroeder; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Clary (Jim), Nancy Meyer, Pat Bahnsen (John), Garold Caven (Cathy), Carol Neymeyer (Cal), Betty Sear and Iona Brewer.
