She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight "Whitey" Wiersema and Mildred "Milly" Wiersema (Schroeder). She is survived by: her husband Terry Bowen of Albany; her children, Tara Read (Dave) of Fulton and Brad Bowen (Elise) of Fulton; her grandchildren, Ava, Brady, Jessa and Anson; and her sister Nancy Hartman (Dan) of Clinton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
