She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Spittler and Kay Spittler (Thyne); her husband David Koch; and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her children, Erin Koch of Clinton and James Koch (Andrea Amundson) of Seattle, WA; and her siblings, Marie Spittler of Clinton, Jane Hayes (David) of Clinton, Marcia Engler (Dan) of Nevada, IA, Virginia Kelly (Ken) of Spirit Lake, IA, Joe Spittler (Jayne) of Woodstock, IL, Richard Spittler (Kay) of Clinton, Mark Spittler (Pam) of Clinton, Tony Spittler (Janet) of Clinton and Matthew Spittler of Clinton. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
She attended church nearly every Sunday until the pandemic hit, and volunteered as a lector and eucharistic minister.
Memorials may be given to the Sisters of St. Francis, the Canticle.
