He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Andersen and Christine Andersen (Carstensen); and his wife Joyce Jordan. He is survived by: his children, Andrea Hill (Gary) of Camanche, Arlen Andersen (Rosie) of Charlotte, Aaron Andersen (Tycenia), Annette Bice (Tim) of Murfreesboro, TN and Alisa McClenning (Dennis) of Camanche; and his sister Jean Schulz of Miles. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
