He was predeceased by: his parents, George Outzen and Ella Mae Outzen (Juber); his daughter Suzanne Outzen; his siblings, Hazel Lutz, Dorothy Kehl and Charles Outzen; and his daughter-in-law Teresa Outzen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sazma of Clinton; his children, Barbara "Karen" Ross (Jeff) of Adair, Michael Outzen of Clinton, Mark Outzen (Pam) of LaCrosse, Patricia Bieber (Craig) of Muscatine, Paul Outzen (Mary) of Clinton, John Outzen (Lynne) of LeClaire, Phillip Outzen (Kathleen) of Decatur and Robert Outzen (Lisa) of Fulton; and his brother Lloyd Outzen of Las Cruces. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
