She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthias Nissen and Rosezella Nissen (Jordan); her spouse Kenneth Johnson; her siblings, Thomas Nissen and Joyce Wirth; her daughter-in-law Cathy Johnson; and her close friend Brenton Baugh.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Crandall (Ray) of Clinton, Iowa, David Johnson (Lorey) of Decatur and James Johnson of Clinton, Iowa; her sisters, Peg Woeckener of Davenport and Mary Ellen Brackemyer (Jerry) of Morrison, Illinois; and her sister-in-law Pat Nissen of Weatherford. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
