It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta A. Brondyke of Clinton, Iowa, born in Albany, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rubertus "Bert" Klooster and Jennie Klooster (Venema); her husband Jay E. Brondyke; her daughter Diane Ottens; and her siblings, Dena Wilkens, Jeannette Wilkens, Gertrude VanZuiden, Gerald and Harold Klooster.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Wheat (Steven) of Fulton, IL and Duglas Brondyke (Christina) of Clinton, IA; her grandchildren, Jason Wheat (Lisa), Lindsay Cagle (Jeremy), Michelle Clarkson (Mark), Jacqueline Chapeck (Daniel), Adam Brondyke (Sarah), Ryan Brondyke and Genna Schneeberger; her son-in-law Larry Ottens of Batavia, IL; and her sister-in-law Louise Klooster of Camanche, IA.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to Genesis Hospice.
