She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Aanes and Clara Aanes (LeRoy); her siblings, Lyle, Earl, Gerald, Keith Aanes and Jean Anfinson (Kenneth); her sisters-in-law, Mary Aanes (Lyle), Ruth Aanes (Earl) and Marilyn Aanes (Gerald); and her nephews, Robert Aanes and Steven Aanes.

She is survived by: her husband LeRoy Gass; and her nieces and nephews, David Aanes (Julie), Debra Kleppe (Gary), Janet Aanes, Sue Aanes, Susan Barry (Tim), Janis Dupuis, Paul Aanes (William), Douglas Aanes (Christy), Gregory Aanes, Christopher Aanes (Luckana), Eric Aanes (Shelley), Mike Klein (Rita) and Kate Elder (Bob).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to West Clermont Lutheran Church or Gundersen Palmer Hospice.
