He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Roe and Irma Roe (Miller); and his sister Betty May Roja. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Yunker; his children, Alan Roe (Michelle Nagle) of Iowa City, IA, Melody Salimi (Abi) of Marietta, GA, Kathy Whitear (Mark) of Granite Falls, MN and Janet Klein (Dennis) of Clemons, IA; his grandchildren, Blake, Brianne Roe, Sheida Zelaya, Shearean Salimi, Sheena Freeman, Christopher, Amanda Gasca, Jolene Nolta, Jeanette, Tricia and Amy Klein; and his brother-in-law Beverley Young (Otto). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Bangor Liberty Friends Church or the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown.
