It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Altemus of Cleghorn, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Rugh Altemus and Violet Lucille (Utesch). He is survived by: his family, Thanksgiving and Easter; his sisters, Audrey Sanderson (Ron) of Correctionville, Iowa. and Lila Byers (Keith) of Correctionville, Iowa.; and his nieces, Renee Van Marel (Ross), Lorie Stanton (Tom), Angela Alitz (Jeff) and Stacy Orndorff. He is also survived by his family including his nine great-nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews.
