With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lyle Edward Hinspeter Jr. of Cleghorn, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Hinspeter, and Margaret Hinspeter, Sr. (Diederich); his brother Dennis Hinspeter; his son-in-law Pat Kellen; his granddaughter Samantha Clark; his mother-in-law Florence Tharpe; and his brothers-in-law, Doug Tharpe (Joy), Denny Tharpe (Shirley) and Donny Tharpe.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Hinspeter; his children, Mindy Walton (Randy), Tammy Kollasch (Chad), Tonia Kellen and Travis Hinspeter (Sarah); his grandchildren, Whitney Walton, Mariah Stallman, Bailey Walton, Carolynn DeYoung, Jared Hinspeter, Tessa Kellen, Konner Kellen, Kassel Kellen, Alex Hinspeter, Andrew Hinspeter and Anthony Hinspeter; his great grandchildren, Hendrix Reskie and Reagan Stallman; his siblings, Shirley Zanter, Donna Wittrock (Wilbur) and Chuck Hinspeter (Cindy); and his sister-in-law Linda Geister (Grant). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
