He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Kuhnes and Carol Kuhnes (Green); his daughter Angela; his sister Dawn; his mother-in-law Bailus (Dutch); and his sister-in-law Charlotte Kuhnes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holland; his children, Heather Anderson (Travis), Daniel Kuhnes (Janet), Jennifer Huff (Tracy), Dawn Stephenson (Mark) and Kimberly Schleef (John); his son-in-law Michael Dowden; his grandchildren, Ezri, Kira Dowden, Thomas, Abigail, Julien, Cole Plum, Kinsley Kuhnes, Treton, Addison, Jordan Huff and Izabelle Stephenson; and his siblings, Marlene Johnson (Alan), Jeanine Morrow (Tim), Dwight Kuhnes (Vickie), Maynard Kuhnes (Charlotte), Lorna Lowrey (Brett), Melanie Tucker (Michael) and Anita Stieg (Tal).
He worked for almost 50 years until Parkinson's and a fall forced him into early retirement.
