“One more little story - a couple years later, when my son (same boy, my only son) was about three - our little family was dressing, getting ready to go to a wedding or funeral. I put little dress pants and a plaid shirt on him, and the finishing touch - a little neck tie. He got upset, and refused to let us put the tie on him - crying and eventually saying “Nooo- I don’t want to wear a Dr. Dankle!!” It didn’t take us long to figure out that Dr. Dankle was the only person he knew that wore atie”

“I wasn’t sure what to do. I called WK, and he told me to meet him at his office. He stitched up my son’s head - on a Sunday morning - no problem 🤗 Like that was just normal practice. He was a very special, caring person and physician.”

“Dr. WK was our doctor for many years, beginning when our young family of three moved to Clear Lake from Florida in the fall of 1977 until he retired. He delivered my other three children and was our “total care physician”. He was truly exceptional 😊 One Sunday morning my two very young children were playing and running around in the living room and my son (about 18 months old) fell and cut open his head on the radiator. My husband was working. I was panicky because of the amount of blood.”
