He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Rappe and Loretta Rappe (Naatz); his son-in-law Marty Given; and his grandson Mitchell Given. He is survived by: his wife Alice Hanson; his sister Janet Conner of Hutchinson, MN; and his children, Kris Vacek (Dean) of Glencoe, MN, Kent Hanson of Glencoe, MN, Kandice Herman-Rappe (Traci) of Minneapolis, MN and Heather Allen (Jeremy) of Aredale, IA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many other friends and extended family.
