He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold B. Otterman and Anna E. Otterman (Miller); his wife Joan; and his sister Joan Linkletter. He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Thompson; his sons, Kirk of Alto, GA and Kent (Cathy) of Emmons, MN; his grandchildren, Angela Hoffman (Robert) of Albert Lea, MN and Joshua (Anna); his great grandchildren, Ender and Iden of Hanlontown, IA; his niece Gayle Linkletter of Cincinnati, OH; his nephews, Scott Linkletter of Prosper, TX and John Linkletter of Beverly, MA; his stepchildren, Randy, Beth Johnson of Clear Lake, Stu, Julie Oltrogge of Clear Lake and Jackie Wilson of Des Moines; his stepgrandchildren, Abby Wilson (Tyler Burhenn), Hannah Wilson, Emily and Dave Haugerud; his close friend John Kjeldgaard; and also, Luca Burhenn and Waylon.
Memorials may be directed towards Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, One Vision, Clear Lake, or NIVC, Mason City.
