She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Opal Meyer (Wymore); her daughter Peggy; and her siblings, William Leaf, Kenneth Meyer, Joyce Dewitt and Anne Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Perry Franklin Nelson; her children, Debra Rungee (Samuel) of Ventura and Terry Nelson (Debbie) of Clear Lake; her grandson Steven Rungee (Ashley) of Ankeny; her great grandchildren, Kahlynn and Mila Rungee; her children, Skylar (Zachary Hayden), Paige Andrea, Dylan Petersen, Landon and Axton Moore; her siblings, Donald Meyer of Grinnell and Carol Detje of Traer; and her sister-in-law Marianne Meyer of Grinnell. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a private family funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, December 7, 2020 at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., Garner with Rev. Mark Peterson officiating.
