He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Schwartz; his children, Julia Rasmussen (Lynn), Russell Borchardt (Cheryl) and Paul Borchardt (Lisa); his grandchildren, Karen Rasmussen, Christopher Borchardt (Kayla) and Kelli Borchardt Ronke (Nick); his great grandchild Connor Borchardt; his sisters, Bethel Fahrenholtz of Mason City, IA and Janice Feldt (William); his sister-in-law Karen Borchardt; and also Maddie Ann Ronke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
