He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gergen and Mercedes Gergen (Schneider); and his brother David Gergen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Davin; his brother Ionia; his pet Sadie; his children, Christopher Gergen (Teresa), Matthew Gergen (Connie) and Jennifer Ferris (Justyn); his grandchildren, Gillian, Gabrielle, Rogan, Jessica and David; and his siblings, Sharon Timm, Carol Olson and Dennis Gergen.
