Ron Pumphrey Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ron Pumphrey of Clear Lake, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Ron Pumphrey to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Pumphrey and Eula Pumphrey (Osborne); his father-in-law Martin Grady; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Pumphrey. He is survived by: his wife Debbie; his daughters, Sarah Coberley (Brett) and Jenny Kolb (John); his stepsons, Andy Menges (Jen) and Ben Menges (Sarah); his grandchildren, Kayla Lucas (Alex), Cody Kolb, Grace Kolb, Jake Kolb, Tristan Coberley and Arabella Coberley; his siblings, Doug Pumphrey (Cindy) and Brenda Grinstead (Herb); his mother-in-law Faye Grady; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Arnold (Dale), Becky Baack (David) and Marty Grady (Shelly). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (112 N 4th St, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
