He was predeceased by: his father Victor; his stepfather Clarence "Louie" Kofoed; his sister Patsy Broers; and his brother-in-law Pat Morse. He is survived by: his mother Norma Kofoed of Clear Lake; his children, Nathan May (Jessica) of Harrisburg, SD and Amanda Genzlinger of Jackson, MN; his grandchildren, Sarah, Savannah, Hailey, Teagan, Kaelyn and Xavier; his siblings, Jerry May of Georgia, Gary May of Swaledale, Sharon Buck of Arkansas, Elida Morse of Clear Lake and Todd Kofoed of Clear Lake; and his brother-in-law Wayne Broers of Arkansas.
