He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Furleigh and Maude Furleigh (Harris). He is survived by: his wife Donna Vay Burgess; his sons, Dwight (Cheri) of Tonica, IL and Ben (Rachael) of Port Charlotte, FL; his grandchildren, Alexander, Erin "Katy" and Erik; his sister Mary Woerner of La Grand, IA; and his friend Chuck Grove. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
