It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Burns (Clear Lake, Iowa), born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Burns and Joy Burns; his wife Martha; his mother-in-law Patricia Burke; and his grandson Jordan McKibben.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer McKibben (Brandon Craig) of Clear Lake and Shannon LaBarge (Eric) of Clear Lake; his grandchildren, Danial Oelberg, Alexis Oelberg, Kelsie McKibben, Conner McKibben, Connor Rethamel and Hailie Teepe; his siblings, Ginny Kruger (Terry) of Ankeny, IA, Vicki Hearn (Keith) of Mason City, IA and Randy Burns (Tammy) of Deadwood, SD.; his siblings-in-law, Daniel Burke (Amy) of Arlington Heights, Ill, Peter Burke of Winona, MN and Elizabeth DeBeau (Lee); and his nieces and nephews, Emmy and Dachshund.
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Treatment Center of America or MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
