It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Wempen (Clear Lake, Iowa), who passed away on November 14, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Wempen and Jeanette Wempen (Lubben); and his children, Michael (Julie) of Marion, David (Molly) of Waukee and Sara Jones (Jason) of Epworth.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his grandchildren, Luke, Matt, Jacob, Kain Wempen, Katie Wempen, Sophie Wempen, Michaela Jones and Addison Jones; and his brothers, Rollin Wempen (Kathy) of Brainerd and Royce Wempen (Linda) of Saint Peter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, and special family friends Mark and Jodie Holck and their children.
