He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Funk and Maxine Funk; his brother Jim Funk; and his stepmother Janet Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Funk of Clear Lake; his son Brett Funk (Christina) of Mason City; his grandchildren, Maddox Funk and Orion Funk; his brothers, Bob Funk, Dan Funk (Linda) and Clark Cook (Sue); his nephews, Cook Funk and Chad Funk (Brandy); and his niece Heather Jacobs (Travis). He is also survived by niece, nephew.
