She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hopkins and Vera Mae Hopkins (Brown) of Rolfe, Iowa.; and her siblings, Laura Pepper, Mary Hartley, Wayne, Virginia Watson and Glenda Burns.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Whitehurst; her son James Turnbull (Andrea); her grandchildren, Cole Turnbull (Mary) and Mikayla Timmerman (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Charley, Oliver Turnbull, Jameson and Jonathan Timmerman; and her sisters, Joyce Stewart, Maxine Hegeholtz and Erma Lund (Harlan).
