He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford F. Maulsby and Doris G. Maulsby (Dodge); his daughter Tricia; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Irma Jung; and his siblings-in-law, Ardith Bohlen, Linda Maulsby, Richard Jung, Gordon Jung and Jim Stephenson.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Maulsby; his sons, Scott Maulsby (Geri) and Grant Maulsby (Christina); his grandchildren, Cody (Megan), Bailey, Ali, Kaylee, Quentin and Urijah; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Lyla Maulsby; his siblings, Tom Maulsby (Jo Ann), Pat Stephenson, Tammy Mowrer (Mark) and Tommy Maulsby; and his sister-in-law Joyce Jung.
In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be directed to the Everybody Plays Playground construction in Clear Lake or the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
