It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Elizabeth West (Clear Lake, Iowa), born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Catherine Matern (Shannahan) and Frank Matern; and her son Cory West. She is survived by: her sons, Chris West (Laura), Chad West and Casey West (Toni); her grandchildren, Jackson West and Taylor West; and her siblings, Michael Matern (Vic), Marcia Courrier (Darrel), Mark Matern (Joyce) and Mary Klippenstein (Forrest). She is also survived by 5 Nephews; along with other relatives and friends.
