She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Galligan and Edna Galligan (Daily); her husband Ralph Kennedy of Joseph's Catholic Church; her daughter-in-law Vicki Kennedy; and her siblings, Tom Galligan (Kay), Fran Nabak (Len) and Patricia.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Kennedy (Roxanne) of Charles City, Ed Kennedy of Plymouth, MN and Kathy Carney (Pat) of Clear Lake; and her grandchildren, Megan Blackwood (Brian) of Eden Prairie, MN, Nate Carney of Clear Lake, Chris Carney (Nikki) of Solon, Neil Kennedy (Tracie) of Urbandale, Kyle Kennedy (Felicia) of Urbandale, Matt Kennedy (Jenny) of Plymouth, MN and Katie McPheeters (Matthew) of Edina, MN. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Family Parish in New Hampton, St. Patrick's Church in Clear Lake, or Central Gardens in Clear Lake.
