He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Sampson and Arlene Sampson; and his nephew Zachary Solum. He is survived by: his wife Carla Sampson; his children, Nicole Jacobs (Cathy), Kasandra Godbold (Shane), Sarah-Jo Scaparotti (Matt), Tyler Sampson and Samuel Sampson (Steve); and his grandchildren, Isaiah Lucas (ShyAnne), Ty Lucas, Dylan Godbold, Carly Godbold, Jayden Scaparotti, Selah Scaparotti, Barret Scaparotti and Violet Scaparotti. He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and other remembrances, a GoFundMe account has been established to support Mark's family during this difficult time.
