She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Carolus and Emma Carolus (Lassahn); her spouse Bennie Walter Bartleson; her brothers, Donald (Jean), Merlin (Marilyn), Ralph (Betty) and Vernon; and her sister-in-law Ardy Carolus.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Treloar (Tim) of Clear Lake; her brother Merwin Carolus of Mason City; and her sister-in-law Shirley Carolus of Alden, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorial contributions to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City.
