He is survived by: his children, Pamela Rasmussen (Rodney) of Vancouver, WA, Patricia Caron (Steve) of Clear Lake, IA and Mary Meske; his grandchildren, Michelle Allen (Justin) of Mesa, AZ and Christine Frese; his great grandchildren, Elise and Emmitt Allen; his sister Marilyn Hitzemann of Akron, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Hitzemann of Akron and Arden Hitzemann (Katie) of Canton, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
