He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Rottinghaus and Catherine Rottinghaus (Gudenkauf); and his siblings, Mary Catherine Clark, Anthony "Bud" Rottinghaus, Winifred Merfeld, Raphel Rottinghaus, Raymond Rottinghaus, Sr., Michael Rottinghaus, Sr., Anthony Rottinghaus, Sr., Rosanne Rottinghaus and Jim Rottinghaus.
He is survived by: his wife Dee Rottinghaus; his children, Ann Rottinghaus (John Mayer), Tom Rottinghaus, Joe M. Rottinghaus (Shari) and Chuck Rottinghaus (Kirsten Voss); his grandchildren, Andrew of Alex, J. T., Ashley, Sydney, Carmen and Erik; his nieces, Donna Armstrong and Pam Hinrichs; and his sisters-in-law, Teresa Rottinghaus, Dixie Rottinghaus and Verna Mudderman. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
