It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Schwichtenberg Sr. of Clear Lake, Iowa, born in Goodell, Iowa, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Schwichtenberg and Carrie Schwichtenberg (Reemtsma); his wife Frances Lanora Graff; his siblings-in-law, Robert Trehern, Daisy Schwichtenberg and Mona Watford; his children, John Schwichtenberg, Jr., Raymond (Catherine), Michael Schwichtenberg (Tamara) and Janice Burke (Jerry); his grandchildren, Abby, Alex, Erik, Angela, Kelli, Bethany, Joel, Casey, Daniel and Lauren; and his great grandchildren, Lewis, Simon, Addison, Howard and Walter. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that memorials be given to Klemme United Methodist Church, Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank or to your local food pantry.
