He is survived by: his children, Barbara Melhus, Steve "Skeeter" Wilson (Melinda), Lisa Nichols and Tim Nichols (Nicole); his grandchildren, Holly Cooke (Dan), Ryan Melhus (Amber), Carly Carper (Nathan), Walker Wilson (Mallory), Ivy Wilson, Samantha Jensen (Kolby) and Garrett Nichols; and his great grandchildren, Addyson, Cooper Cooke, Mitchell, Cecilia and Maverick Melhus. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
