It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joel Francis Punke of Clear Lake, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on July 10, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave E. Punke and Alma Punke (Davis); his brother David G. Punke; and his stepson Rob Rollefson. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Punke (Tannahill) of Clear Lake; his children, Chris Punke (Heather) of Ankeny and Michele Punke (Tara Hicks) of Portland, OR; his stepchildren, Steve Rollefson (Kathy) of Forest City, Mike Rollefson (Becky) of Clear Lake and Kim Harris (Brent) of Marion; his nephews, James Punke (Jamie) of Ankeny and Steve Punke of Cedar Falls; his siblings-in-law, Jane Punke of Nevada, IA and Ron Tannahill (Marge) of Clear Lake; and his grandchildren, Ella, Henry, Gabriel, Ava, Nora, Chris, Scott, Brandon, Spencer, Dustin, Logan, Travis and Brooke. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
