She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Bisgrove and Veronica Bisgrove (Doyle); her husband Donald Wayne Ashland; her daughter Debra Dannen; and her sister Donna Railsback.

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Ashland and Michael Ashland of Forest City, IA; her granddaughters, Jennifer Dannen and Tricia Casey; her brother Alan Bisgrove (Susan); and her brother-in-law John "Butch" Ashland Jr. (Barbara).

Memorials may be given to the National Alzheimer's Association, https://www.alz.org in Wayne and Joan's Memory.
